School’s Out For
sunflower summer!
The 2025 program will be Saturday, July 12 – Sunday, August 3!
Participating venues for the program will be announced in June.

Program Updates
This program relies on funding from the Kansas State Legislature to operate. The amount approved for this summer’s program only allows for a shortened timeline. Please note that we may have to adjust the length of the program based on the amount of use. Updates about the program’s season will be delivered on the app. Always double check before you visit any attractions!
The Kansas State Legislature has required the Sunflower Summer program to limit tickets claimed through the program to one adult per transaction.
If you have two or more adults in your party, only one adult will have their ticket covered by the program. All other adults must pay the admission costs out of pocket. Users will still be able to transfer student tickets to other trusted adults via the app (ex. transferring to grandparents or daycare providers), but only one adult admission will be covered by the program.
Participating attractions will be announced in June. Make sure to confirm if an attraction is participating this summer before arriving at the venue. Not all attractions who participated last year may choose to do so in 2025, plus there will be additional attractions added for this summer.
